My path to the stage first took me through lecture halls, seminar rooms and research projects. Before becoming a freelance presenter, I worked in higher education for many years, focusing closely on language, media, culture and environmental issues.
I studied International Information Management, specialising in linguistics. I developed my four languages — German, English, Spanish and French — while also studying media studies and politics. This combination of language, analysis and an interest in journalism still shapes my work: I enjoy getting to grips with new topics quickly, understanding connections and communicating content clearly and accessibly.
After completing my degree, I undertook a doctorate in environmental science. My dissertation examined climate awareness among German and Spanish students, including cultural influences on environmental thinking and action. My research brought together environmental science and applied cultural studies. I was awarded the title Dr. phil.

The collaboration with Dr. Ines Marbach began with the opening ceremony of VIEGA World - the most sustainable building in our industry. It was already noticeable here: This is a perfect match. With her combination of professional expertise, stage presence and depth of content, she gave the format the right charisma. Since then, several other joint projects have followed, including three BIM conferences on the future of construction. A win for our events every time.
For the presentation of the “National Award – Education for Sustainable Development” in Bremerhaven, Ms. Marbach showed a fine sense of the celebratory setting with her moderation and tangible appreciation for the award-winning projects. She knew how to vividly convey the importance of education for sustainable development and to give the winners an appropriate stage. Thank you for that!
At the Future Impact Symposium celebrating RAFI’s 125th anniversary, Dr. Ines Marbach struck the right balance of dynamism, ease and substance. Particularly during the TechTalk ‘Zeitgeist. Megatrends. Mut.’, she connected tradition with the future and engaged employees, management and guests alike.
We have recruited Dr. Ines Marbach as a moderator for the ACE expert panel on commuter mobility in Frankfurt. She knew how to point out different perspectives and at the same time enable a constructive, lively dialogue. A real added value for our event.
Ms. Dr. Marbach took over the moderation of various events for Messe Stuttgart - including as part of our R+T and AMB trade fairs. With energy, professionalism and a keen sense of audience and media, she knows how to bring trade fair formats to the stage in an entertaining and yet clearly structured manner. She enriched every event with a modern, concise and refreshing style. A presenter we can rely on at any time.
